Buzz buzz buzz

Just a few bullet points for this update, since it'll be too meke otherwise:

• Stayed in Wellington for three weeks - choice time. Stayed with Glenn / Melon and Rob - most respected cheers to you two. Word out to those dudes and all the other crew I hung out with while I was there - all good times.....Hane, Dwayne, Squash buddies, Adrian and the weather for being most excellent.
• I now have (well, not offically until I've received the plastic beauty from the CAA) a PPL (H). I don't think I was packing my undies about anything in my life as much as that flight test. I felt pretty good about it, and knew deep down I'd pass, but still freaking out all the same. Now I'll be looking to convert that puppy to a JAA one and do some boosting around Europe. Felt good all the way up to Kerikeri. Not sure what I'll do with the flying next. I'll probably just stick with the minimum to keep the helicopter current, while concentrating on PPL and CPL for the stiffy wing. Bzzzzzzzzz.
  
• I stretched the limbs out at Kerikeri. Was nice to relax for a bit before doing 26-odd hours of more sloth-like habitation on the plane.
  
• I'm at some Hotel now and doing an all nigher before I catch the plane tomorrow morning, bound for Frankfurt. Earlier this evening I got a taxi fulla to boost out to the closest Wendys and do a charge through the drive through for me. Man, it was worth every penny of the $50 cab fare. Tasty-as kai.
• I'm going to be in Oslo for a few days later in the week, then not sure where to after that. Possibly Dubai, but it seems that it's like Islands time over there, and things always are in a constant state of flux.

Oh yeah, and Ash, buddy if you're reading this. Sorry I couldn't come over and visit - it was a bit of a rush at the end and only just managed to slice in a couple of days with the folks. Speaking of which, how are George and Estelle?
